- For a caller with a background of calling or dancing; to learn to call or a desire to improve their calling
- A square dance organization to sponsor a seminar or clinic to provide training to dancers or callers,

- CSD provides funds for ABC dances when funds are available.
- CSD provides grants for classes when funds are available.
Walking Together: Investing in Folklife in Communities of Color

- Up to $50,000 for organization programs
- Appears grant program deadline is in March.
- Supports folklife and traditional arts rooted in communities of color by investing in practitioners and the community organizations that care for them. It is a national funding program managed by the six U.S. regional arts organizations (RAOs).
- Walking Together serves traditional artists/practitioners and organizations that show a deep commitment to sustaining folklife rooted in communities of color.

- Funds projects to preserve and promote LGBTQ+ square dancing and other associated dance forms
Projects must:
- Protect the heritage of the activity and contribute to its growth, emphasizing the social, physical, and mental benefits of square dancing
- Increase public awareness, educate and inform the general public about preserving the art of square dancing
- Educate the public about LGBTQ+ square dancers
- Educate the public about square dancing as an art form.
